NKYA Kid Glove Game

We will be doing the Kid Glove fundraiser again this year for our baseball and softball programs.  This year's game will be Tuesday, August 20th.  Tickets are $10, and we receive 85% of ticket sales to put back into our program.  All tickets will be grouped together, and each team will sit together.  Please talk to your coach for details.  The deadline to order is June 1st.

Baseball/Softball Picture Day

Picture day is Saturday, April 27th.  They will be held at Summit View Middle School in the gym.  All coaches have the current schedule, but the link is below.  The times are subject to change slightly as we're working around our Knothole teams' schedules.

Uniforms will be in prior to pictures.  We may have them as early as Wednesday, so you can work with  the admins to pick them up prior to Saturday.  Otherwise, we will have them at pictures Saturday, so have your team show up early so they can change.


Schedules

Schedules for t-ball and coach pitch will be available later this week as the season starts May 1st.  The u9 and up will be available this coming weekend (4/27-4/28)

Baseball/Softball Equipment Pickup

Coaches,

You will receive an email late Friday night/early Saturday morning with your roster for the upcoming season.  If you receive an email, you, or an assistant, will need to stop by our Richardson Road Park shed anywhere between 12 and 2pm Saturday, March 30th to pick up your equipment and select a practice slot.  If you cannot make it, please contact Mandy or Zach, and we'll make arrangements for later in the week.

If you do not receive an email with a roster, and you were expecting one, please contact Mandy or Zach.  In some of our divisions, we have more volunteers than we have teams, so not everyone will receive a team.


Parents,

A coach will contact you this weekend.  With it being Easter weekend, please give them through Monday to contact you.  If you do not receive a call (or email) by Tuesday, please call us (859-525-8980).

Baseball/Softball - Registration extended through 3/23

We have pushed back the last day of registration to the 23rd.  We've had an overwhelming number of calls and emails the past few days that we have decided to extend the registration a week.  This will not affect the start of our season.

Coaches will receive their rosters on the 30th, so parents will be contacted by a coach that weekend.

The cut off date for the divisions below is January 1st (birth date)

U-5 T-ball (ages 3&4) coed

U-7 Coach Pitch (ages 5&6) coed

U-9 SB Machine pitch (ages 7&8) 

U-9 BB Modified kid pitch (ages 7&8)

U-11 SB Modified kid pitch (ages 9&10)

U-11 BB Kid Pitch (ages 9&10)

U-14 SB kid Pitch (ages 11-13)

U-14 BB Kid Pitch (ages 11-13)

Fees:

T-ball & Coach Pitch  is $65.00

U-9 thru U-14 is $85.00

NKYA offers an 8 to 10 game season for all divisions, plus a tournament for u9 and up.
We do allow those players within 1 year of the next division to 'play up' in the next division.

Baseball & Softball Meeting for Coaches
Saturday, Feb 23rd from 3 to 4pm at Midwest

We will have a meeting Saturday, February 23rd from 3pm to 4pm at Midwest Sports in Florence.  The meeting will take place in the practice volleyball area which is located in the center of the building between the soccer field and basketball courts.

The meeting is open to all returning coaches and any parents interested in coaching for the upcoming season.  We will discuss the details around the upcoming season, the Kid Glove game, and answer any questions you may have.
