In-person Baseball and Softball Sign-Ups

We will be at Pleasure Isle Saturday from 8:30am to 1:00pm accepting in-person registrations.

Baseball and Softball Registration is OPEN

Registration for the upcoming 2014 season is open through March 8th.  Below are the divisions for the season.  T-ball and coach pitch is $65.  u9 and up will be $85.

For the 2014 season (age cut-off is January 1st):

• T-Ball:  ages 3 and 4 (coed)
• Coach Pitch:  ages 5 and 6 (coed)
• u9 Softball Machine Pitch:  ages 7 and 8
• u11 Fast-pitch Softball:  ages 9 and 10
• u13 Fast-pitch Softball:  ages 11 and 12
• u15 Fast-pitch Softball:  ages 13 and 14
• u9 Baseball Modified Kid Pitch:  ages 7 and 8
• u11 Baseball:  ages 9 and 10
• u13 Baseball:  ages 11 and 12
• u15 Baseball:  ages 13 and 14 

Our softball league has expanded!  We have teamed up with other local organizations to grow recreational fast-pitch softball in the area.  As a result, games may be played at other locations in Kenton and Boone counties.

Baseball/Softball Schedule Update for Saturday, June 1st

NKYA Kid Glove Game

We will be doing the Kid Glove fundraiser again this year for our baseball and softball programs.  This year's game will be Tuesday, August 20th.  Tickets are $10, and we receive 85% of ticket sales to put back into our program.  All tickets will be grouped together, and each team will sit together.  Please talk to your coach for details.  The deadline to order is June 8th.

Baseball/Softball Picture Day

Picture day is Saturday, April 27th.  They will be held at Summit View Middle School in the gym.  All coaches have the current schedule, but the link is below.  The times are subject to change slightly as we're working around our Knothole teams' schedules.

Uniforms will be in prior to pictures.  We may have them as early as Wednesday, so you can work with  the admins to pick them up prior to Saturday.  Otherwise, we will have them at pictures Saturday, so have your team show up early so they can change.

Schedules for t-ball and coach pitch will be available later this week as the season starts May 1st.  The u9 and up will be available this coming weekend (4/27-4/28)

Baseball/Softball - Registration extended through 3/23

We have pushed back the last day of registration to the 23rd.  We've had an overwhelming number of calls and emails the past few days that we have decided to extend the registration a week.  This will not affect the start of our season.

Coaches will receive their rosters on the 30th, so parents will be contacted by a coach that weekend.

Baseball & Softball Meeting for Coaches
Saturday, Feb 23rd from 3 to 4pm at Midwest

We will have a meeting Saturday, February 23rd from 3pm to 4pm at Midwest Sports in Florence.  The meeting will take place in the practice volleyball area which is located in the center of the building between the soccer field and basketball courts.

The meeting is open to all returning coaches and any parents interested in coaching for the upcoming season.  We will discuss the details around the upcoming season, the Kid Glove game, and answer any questions you may have.

Equipment and rosters will be handed out for all coaches at Richardson Road Park on March 23rd from       9:00am until 12:00pm. 

Practice starts the 1st week of April.  The location, day, and time will be selected by the coach.  The coaches will email or call with the practice information.

NKYA picture day will be on April 27th (location will be announced soon).

Games will start the beginning of May (schedules will be posted when completed).

Registration for both baseball and softball is set to open Monday, January 14th.  At that time, we will define all divisions, age cut-offs, costs, and deadlines.

Fall Baseball/Softball Registration - CLOSED

Registration for the fall session is closed.  We will only be holding a coach pitch division this fall.

For those that signed up in the other divisions, refunds will start going out next week as we didn't have the numbers to form enough teams.  Thank you for your interest.

Online Registration is available for fall BB/SB Session

Attention all members and fans of Baseball or Softball,

Online Registration is now available for fall baseball and softball session this year.

The purpose of this session is to allow kids to continue playing organized ball and to continue working on the fundamentals of the game.

The details of the session are below.

• Session will start around August 19th.
• All games will be on Sundays, no earlier than 11am.
• There will be no practices.
• There will be no umpires, so coaches will call the game.
• We will not track win/loss records.
• We would like to keep the total number of kids on a team to a minimum for maximum playing time.
• We need at least 4 teams per division to have that division.
• The registration fee is $50 and includes a t-shirt and 6-8 game schedule.

2012 Fall Baseball/Softball Session

This year, NKYA will be offering a fall baseball and softball session.  The session will consist of a 6 to 8 game schedule beginning around August 19th.  Games will be played on Sundays, no earlier than 11:00 am.  There will be no practices during this session or tracking records.  The purpose of this session is to allow the kids to continue playing organized baseball and to continue to work on the fundamentals of the game.  The registration fee is $50, and we will have online registration available in a couple days.

Softball Semifinals Schedule- Saturday, July 21st

The semifinals for both the 9U Softball and Upper Softball divisions will be played Saturday at Richardson Road Park prior to the championship games at Lincoln Ridge Park.
